Position Summary:

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Chesterfield and Des Peres Emergency Departments. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

 

Annual volume ~34,0000 patients/year at Chesterfield, ~9,000 patients year at Des Peres

55 hours of physician coverage daily at Chesterfield, 24 hours of physician coverage daily at Des Peres

Strong consultant support

TCD Level 1 STEMI

TCD Level 2 Stroke

No trauma accreditation

Low volumes of behavioral health, no inpatient psychiatry services

Infrequent boarding of inpatient admissions in the Emergency Department 

Dedicated nocturnists at both facilities minimizes night shift burden.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: MD/DO

Licensure/Certification: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, DEA License, and Missouri Board of Registration of the Healing Arts.
