Position Summary:

Join our nationally recognized Heart and Vascular Institute as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) by covering weekends with the on call Cardiologist.  

We are open to the number of APPs needed to cover this shift (If you are open to every other weekend or every Saturday, etc., we can review requests and potentially accommodate schedules).

  • Weekend coverage - 7am-5pm
  • Working directly with the Cardiologist on weekend ER call
  • Treating existing patients as well as new/unassigned patients on the hospital units and ER
  • Requesting diagnostic testing, follow ups, patient transfers, and patient education

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements: 

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current NP or PA license (or eligibility) in Missouri
  • Strong interest in cardiovascular medicine and commitment to completing a structured training program
  • Excellent communication, clinical, and critical thinking skills
