Position Summary: 

The Audiologist is responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages. The Audiologist collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.  

The anticipated start date for this Audiology opportunity will be Summer 2026. 

  • Assess and manage balance disorders through vestibular testing and rehabilitation.  
  • Fit, program, and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices; provide follow-up care and adjustments.  
  • Counsel patients and families on hearing loss, treatment options, and communication strategies.  
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.  
  • Collaborate with ENT specialists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.  
  • Stay current with advancements in audiology and hearing aid technology through continuing education. 

 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:   

Education: Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program. 

Licensure: Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts in Audiology, Certification from Americal Speech-Language-hearing Association (ASHA) or American Board of Audiology. BLS and ACLS certified.
