Position Summary:

We are seeking a Board-Certified Breast Surgeon to diagnose and treat breast conditions, from benign lumps to breast cancer, through consultations and surgical procedures.  Key duties include performing surgeries like lumpectomies and mastectomies, developing personalized treatment plans, interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of oncologists and radiologists.

 

Patient Consultations: Meet with patients to discuss diagnoses, explain treatment options, and perform pre- and post-operative assessments.

 

Surgical Procedures: Perform a range of surgeries, including lumpectomies, mastectomies, biopsies, and lymph node removal.

 

Treatment Planning: Create and manage comprehensive, personalized treatment plans for patients with breast cancer and benign breast conditions.

 

Diagnostic Interpretation: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging data.

 

Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other specialists like oncologists, radiation oncologists, reconstruction surgeons, and pathologists.

 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements: 

Education: MD/DO

Licensure/Certification: BC/BE in Specialty, ACLS and BLS Certified, DEA License, and Missouri Board of Registration of the Healing Arts.
